New Lens

I recently purchased Nikon’s newest, latest & greatest tele lens – the Nikon 70-200mm f/2.8G VRII ED. This thing cost me a pretty penny.. but it’s on every pro’s top 5 lens list. Here it is below, on my D700.

Also take a look at a picture I took with it this evening, before it got dark.

It’s amazingly sharp and the autofocus is lightening fast. It was never out of focus on a shot when I wanted to press the shutter button, even when tracking birds and such.

Am looking forward to messing around with this lens!

Mac CS5 Crash Fix

Since I got Photoshop CS5 my mac has been constantly crashing when I try to open 5 or 10 images in a workflow. Here’s the workaround until apple releases an update – Disable OpenGL.
